Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Aurora Macro Strategies LLC ("Aurora," "we," "us") handles personal information collected through this website. It is intended for general informational use and does not constitute legal advice.

1. Who we are

Aurora Macro Strategies LLC is a research and advisory firm headquartered in New York, NY, US. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at info@auroramacro.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • Information you submit: name, business email, firm, job title, region of interest, inquiry type, and any message content from our contact and region inquiry forms.
  • Email correspondence: any information you include when you write to us directly.
  • Analytics and visit data (with consent): if you accept our cookie banner, we load HubSpot's tracking pixel and Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic patterns, identify which research topics generate interest, and connect submitted inquiries to prior anonymous browsing on this site. See our Cookie Policy for the specific cookies set and how to opt out.

We do not run advertising pixels, retargeting, session replay, or cross-site tracking. We do not buy contact lists.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and follow up about a potential engagement;
  • Send you research, briefings, or updates relevant to the regions and topics you have asked about;
  • Tag your contact record in our CRM with the research interests you have expressed (e.g. a region briefing request), so future communications are relevant;
  • Maintain our internal records of business correspondence;
  • Understand aggregate site usage so we can improve the topics and formats we publish.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Where your information is stored and processed

Form submissions are sent to our customer relationship management system, HubSpot (operated by HubSpot, Inc., United States), which acts as a processor on our behalf. HubSpot's privacy practices are described at legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.

Confirmation and notification emails are sent through Resend (operated by Resend, Inc., United States), which acts as a processor on our behalf for transactional email delivery. Resend's privacy practices are described at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

This website is hosted on edge infrastructure operated by Lovable and Cloudflare. If you submit information from outside the United States, please be aware that it will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

5. Legal basis (EEA / UK visitors)

For visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing are: (a) consent, for analytics cookies set by HubSpot and Google Analytics; (b) legitimate interests, for responding to inquiries you initiate and for maintaining records of business correspondence; and (c) contractual necessity, where you have entered into an engagement with us.

6. How long we keep your information

We retain inquiry records for as long as is reasonably necessary to maintain our business relationship and respond to follow-up communications, and to comply with our legal and recordkeeping obligations. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. How we protect your information

All form submissions and email correspondence are transmitted over encrypted (TLS) connections. Access to our CRM is restricted to Aurora personnel on a need-to-know basis and protected by individual authentication. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction or deletion of that information;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@auroramacro.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Children

This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
